So let's have a look at how we're going to get the dynamic input settings working for us. Now down on the Status bar at the bottom of the screen. So if you come down to Dynamic Input here. Just hover over it. You can see my Dynamic Input is on. If I right click now, you get a little box there that says Dynamic Input Settings. Use this method to set a quick click to equal Enter, and a longer click to display a shortcut menu. Click Application menu Options. In the Options dialog box, User Preferences tab, under Windows Standard Behavior, click Right-Click Customization. In the Right-Click Customization dialog box, select Turn on Time-Sensitive Right-Click.
You can do this quite easily. You will need to open and tune your OPTIONS. Lots of ways to open your OPTIONS. You will likely find it at the bottom of your right click shortcut menu, or you can right click inside your COMMANDLINE and select it there. OP typed into your commandline will probably do it too. If you have not already done so, I would suggest setting up a personal PROFILE and saving it on the PROFILES tab in your OPTIONS, so that it is easy to maintain and restore your personal setting preferences. The attachment shows you where to find the RIGHT CLICK CUSTOMIZATION settings.
Review and choose appropriate settings to taste. I like to use the TIME SENSITIVE right click option, it is a matter of personal preference, set yours here. Edited April 15, 2012 by Dadgad.
